Privacy policy

Only what's needed to make the thing you're using work:

• Your account: the name you choose, your email address and your password. Passwords are scrambled (hashed) before they're stored, so nobody can read them — not even us.
• What you save in the tools: the bets, free bets and notes you type into the Profit Tracker.
• Sign-in and security details: when you sign in we store a random sign-in key, your IP address and your browser's name. These keep you signed in and slow down anyone trying to guess passwords.
• Website visits: if you agree to it, Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages are popular. You are asked the first time you arrive, and nothing is counted unless you say yes.

The video downloader pages show a shared list of what's been downloaded recently, so the pages don't feel empty and you can see the tools are working.

What that list stores: which site the video came from, its title, the account or channel that posted it, the quality picked, and the time.

What it doesn't store: anything about who downloaded it. No IP address, no account, no name, no link, and no copy of the file itself. There's no way to tie an entry back to a person — including for us.

Four reasons, and that's it:

• To run your account and show your own tracker back to you.
• To send a password reset email when you ask for one.
• To keep accounts safe and stop people abusing the site.
• To understand roughly how the site is used, so it can be made better.

We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't send marketing emails. There are no adverts on NexusHub at all.

Only a handful, and each does a job:

• nxmb_session — keeps you signed in. Only used for your account, and removed when you sign out.
• Google Analytics cookies — used to count visits. These are only set if you say yes to the cookie bar; say no and they are never set. Change your answer.
• Your browser's own storage — remembers small things on your device, like your exchange commission, your last dutching calculation, or where you got to in a video. This never leaves your device.

Your data sits on our web host's servers. Google receives website visit data through Google Analytics. That's the lot — nothing else is shared with anyone, unless the law requires it.

Your account data stays for as long as you have an account. Delete your account and your details, bets, free bets and notes go straight away.

Sign-in keys expire by themselves. Security records are cleared after about a day. The Recent Downloads list keeps its most recent few hundred entries and drops older ones automatically.

Everything is in one place, and none of it needs asking us:

• See and download your data: My Account → Download a backup.
• Fix your details: change your name, email and password in My Account.
• Delete everything: My Account → Delete account. It's immediate.
• Ask us anything: the contact page.

If you're in the UK you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how your data has been handled.

A NexusHub account is free for anyone who wants to save their work, and it isn't only for the matched betting tools.

Bookmakers and exchanges are a separate thing entirely: they only accept people aged 18 or over. NexusHub isn't aimed at young children, so if you're under 13 please ask a parent or guardian before signing up.

If this policy changes, it'll be updated here and the date at the top will change with it.
