About Mr Mystery

Install the individual Mr Mystery NPC behaviour and resource packs. This is his complete quest system inside the NPC addon, replacing both the former simple four-trade handler and the separate quest-only download. He is villager-sized, wanders and can rarely appear in recognised Overworld villages. Craft his owner placement book from a book and an emerald.

Choose among 32 vanilla inventory contracts across Easy, Medium, Hard and Veteran. Hard tasks include sculk and Ancient City materials; veteran tasks include an elytra, dragon head and rare End, boss and trial finds. The requested materials and a locked-in reward are shown before acceptance. Highest-tier rewards, including netherite gear/materials, enchanted golden apples, elytra, nether stars, heavy cores and maces, are reserved for veteran contracts. Lower tiers give more ordinary loot. No dragon mounts or spawn eggs are awarded.

Four offers rotate every 12-hour UK window, with five rerolls per UK week. An accepted task lasts a full 12 hours from acceptance. Place its bound coloured Mystery Chest and make partial item deposits. Chests are locked to the accepting player and can be packed/moved without losing deposits or time. Completion brings a personal visual visit and inventory reward. Full inventories leave refunds or rewards saved for later collection.

The same individual NPC pack keeps its UUID, placement book and village behaviour. Do not install the old separate Mr Mystery addon alongside it: that release used a different saved-data namespace. Back up the old world and settle any old active quests before switching.

Scripted Bedrock tests completed all 32 quest flows with all 13 individual NPC packs installed and passed saved-state restart checks. Human crafting, menus, chest/arrival visuals and multiplayer tests remain pending, so public downloads stay held. Disables achievements as a sideloaded gameplay behaviour pack.

Installing the add-on

This is a standalone Minecraft Bedrock add-on, not a Java mod. When a release becomes available, import its Minecraft pack file and enable the required packs in your world settings. A combined pack includes both parts where applicable.

Check the pack requirements and compatibility notes above. Back up the world before adding or changing packs. You do not need the full Nexus Skyblock world to use this standalone release.
