Lock in a 2UP early payout
Lay your bet as normal. If your team goes two goals up and the bookie pays out early, we'll tell you exactly what to back at the exchange to lock in the profit.
Your bet
After the bookie has paid out
Only do this once the bookie has actually settled your bet as a winner.
Balanced locks in the same profit whatever happens next.
Your commission is remembered for next time.
What to do
| If… | Bookie | Exchange | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your team wins | — | — | — |
| Your team doesn't win | — | — | — |
Some bookies pay your bet out as a winner as soon as your team goes two goals ahead, even if the game ends level or they lose.
Back your team at the bookie and lay it at the exchange as normal. If nothing happens you lose a few pence, like any qualifier.
Once you're paid out, back the same team at the exchange at the new, shorter odds. That closes your lay and banks a profit either way.
Back less to win more if your team throws it away, or back more to win more if they hold on. Balanced keeps both the same.
